Finding form through experimentation

Experiment, in this studio, is not a mood. It is a sequence. A form is started, interrupted, and started again until the interruption becomes the form.

Some of the most resolved works began as failures of proportion. A neck pulled too far. A painting sanded back until the ground showed. The practice keeps those moments instead of correcting them into smoothness.

What looks quiet on the wall was often noisy on the floor. The editing is the work.
